Granny Lee’s Kitchen Opens Doors with Grand Opening Celebration in Oshawa

Oshawa, ON — March 1, 2026 — Granny Lee’s Kitchen will officially celebrate the opening of its new commercial location on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., welcoming the public for an afternoon of community, culture, and Jamaican flavours.

The event will feature a ribbon cutting attended by Deputy Mayor Chapman and representatives from the Mayor’s Office, recognizing the growth of a locally owned, women-led food business in Oshawa.

Guests will enjoy complimentary samples of Granny Lee’s Kitchen’s Jamaican sweet treats, with baked goods and pantry items available for purchase.

Founded on family tradition and a passion for made-from-scratch food, Granny Lee’s Kitchen specializes in Jamaican baked goods and community-focused catering. The new location expands the bakery’s ability to serve Oshawa and the Greater Toronto Area.
